Day 1: Welcome to Denpasar (Bali) – Ubud (Bali)

Fly to Denpasar (Bali), INDONESIA

Welcome to Bali. Upon arrival in Denpasar Airport, obtain your Indonesia visa (please refer to your Special Program Note), and then clear Immigration and Customs.  After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside a local Guide of Global Travel & Tours. He/she will be holding a sign with your names on it. Please note that local guides are not allowed inside the airport.

From the airport, you will be privately transferred to your lovely boutique hotel. Settled in the foothills of the volcanic mountains of northern Bali, Ubud provides a wonderful contrast to the lively and modern south coast of Bali. Surrounded by paddy fields and dramatic valleys, the old town is often considered to be the ‘cultural hub’ of the island. Particularly famous for its markets, temples, great selection of restaurants and its traditional Balinese architecture, Ubud town is a great place for private exploration. Particularly good for families and young couples wanting to be in the heart of the action.

Settle in and enjoy the afternoon and evening at your leisure.
